The first voice lesson is an important step to your singing success! I will be getting to know you, understand your goals, and discuss your previous experience as part of the process. The number one thing to remember is that we are a team working together for your individual needs. 

Things I cover and do during lessons:

• Listening to your voice - I will be able to establish the best path for your singing education by listening to you sing a song and vocalize
• Posture - How to align your body to get the most from your voice
• Breath - How to inhale air properly and exhale to support the voice with consistent airflow
• Vocalizations - Getting ready to sing and corrective vocal measures using scales and other warm-ups tailored to your individual needs
• Resonance - Creating the sound that carries in the most optimal and healthy way
• Articulation - How we approach your diction and solid vocal technique
• Musicality and Interpretation - How the sound will take shape within the communication of the text and melody
• Vocal Health - I will teach you how to care for your voice when it is healthy and when it is not
• Integration - The culmination of all steps that lead to performance
